Head of the Production Department and Professor.

Having been an award-winning short- and feature-film German filmmaker in the 70's, Bastian Clevé learned the craft of the producing trade in Los Angeles throughout the 80's. After having returned to Germany in the early 90's he designed and established the "production-studies" at the newly founded Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg training future television- and motion-picture- producers.

With responsibility for creating the long-term content, production, acquisition, marketing and promotion strategy for the network, Ed Hersh works with the Investigation Discovery president and general manager Henry Schleiff, to evolve the Investigation Discovery brand; collaborate with the advertising sales and distribution teams to create new production models and content vehicles; and serve as a resource for the programming, production, and development teams on execution and storytelling.
Ed Hersh was previously chief creative officer of StoryCentric LLC, a company he founded to provide executive-level strategic and programming insight to content producers and networks.

From 2002 to 2009 Hans was general manager of the Hilversum Media Academie, Netherlands; independent (not for profit) training Institute for Radio, Television and Crossmedia.
At this moment he is working at the Hogeschool Rotterdam (Netherlands)
